Configure speed dial

Speed Dial lets you save frequently called numbers and reach them quickly using a short code or a dedicated button on your desk phone, without having to look up or dial the full number each time.

Programming the Speed Dial 100 feature using *75

1. Dial *75 from any phone.
2. Enter the 2-digit speed dial location (01 – 99) followed by the 10 digit phone number or extension.
3. Press pound (#).
   The message plays “Speed Dialing 100 programming succeeded, thank you.”

Example: If the customer dialed *75 01 8004374966 #, the speed dial 01 is set to TN: 800-837-4966

How to use the Speed Dial 100 feature

To use the Speed Dial 100 feature:

1. Press pound (#), followed by the 2-digit speed dial location.
   
   1. For example, #01 dials speed dial 01 that the customer configured.

Programming Speed Dialing using DSS Keys on Yealink Desk Phones

Direct Station Selection (DSS) keys on Yealink desk and CP925 phones allows the customer to program speed dialing using any line key slot that is not assigned to any phone number or monitored lines.

To program DSS Keys as a Speed Dial on Yealink Phones:

1. Perform one of the following methods to select the DSS Key Program:
   
   1. Press down on the Line Key that does not have anything setup on it from the main screen to open the DSS key menu for that line key option.
      
      1. Example: If Line Key 3 is not being used on a T33G phone, the customer can hold down the button for line key 3 to bring up the DSS key menu for line key 3.
   2. From the phone, navigate to Menu > Features > Dsskey > pick the line key the customer wants to program the speed dial on.
2. Update the options on the Line Key page to the following:
   
   1. Type: Change to Speed Dial.
   2. Account ID: Pick which line the customer wants the speed dial to dial out from.
      
      1. The default is Line 1.
   3. Label: Enter the name that will display for the speed dial on the DSS Key.
   4. Value: Enter the phone number or extension number for the speed dial to dial out to.
3. Select save.

Using the DSS Key Configured as a Speed Dial:

Press the button next to the DSS Key that the speed dial is programmed on.

Programming Speed Dialing using DSS Keys on Yealink Cordless DECT Phones

1. Press OK.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Telephony.
4. Select Speed Dial.
5. Select which number (2-9) to set the speed dial for.
6. Select Edit.
7. Enter the Name and Number fields.
8. Select Save.

To use Speed Dial on Yealink Cordless Phones:

• Hold down on the speed dial number to dial the number setup on the speed dial.
• For example, if a speed dial is set up on 2, hold down 2 to call the number setup on speed dial

Any updates to the speed dial on the Yealink Cordless phones do not sync with any other cordless phones assigned to the cordless base.

If the cordless phone has multiple TNs assigned to it, the speed dial only dials out from theDefault Line. There is no option to change what line the call would dial out from unless the Default Line is changed.
